ROHM has developed a dedicated system power management ic for Intel's new quad core Atom processor, codenamed 'Bay Trail'. Due to launch this summer, Bay Trail is a 22nm chip specifically designed for tablets which promises double the performance of the company's current generation 32nm processors.
